Responsible Gambling

Last changed: 20.10.2026

We regard online casino gaming as a form of entertainment intended for adults. Although most players approach it this way, a small proportion may allow gambling to occupy an excessive place in their lives. This policy describes steps you can take to reduce potential harm, including addiction, financial losses and other negative consequences. If you believe your gambling has become problematic, consider using our self-exclusion programme and stepping away from gambling.

Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling is behaviour that causes harm to the person gambling or to people around them. It develops when an individual is no longer able to control their participation.

Gambling becomes harmful when it interferes with everyday responsibilities, damages mental or physical health, affects reputation or relationships, or creates financial difficulties. Warning signs can include:

a) Spending more money or remaining in play longer than you originally planned.

b) Experiencing arguments with friends or family after gambling.

c) Feeling compelled to return quickly after a loss in an attempt to recover the money.

d) Experiencing guilt or regret about your gambling.

e) Borrowing funds or selling possessions to finance further play.

f) Neglecting work or other obligations in order to gamble.

g) Concealing how much or how often you gamble.

If you recognise one or more of these behaviours, consider completing a self-assessment to help you evaluate whether your gambling may be causing problems.

Keeping Gambling Under Control

Roobet Casino recognise that gambling remains recreational for most people, while some players may struggle to maintain control. Supporting responsible gambling forms part of our social responsibility. The following recommendations are intended to help you keep your participation balanced.

a) Make Enjoyment the Priority

Entertainment should remain the main reason for playing. If gambling no longer feels enjoyable, stop rather than continuing out of habit or obligation.

b) Establish a Spending Limit

Before starting a session, decide how much you can afford to lose and remain within that amount. Consider your income, existing financial commitments and usual lifestyle. Only allocate money that you can reasonably spend on recreation.

c) Regard Gambling as an Entertainment Expense

Approach a gambling budget in the same way as the cost of a cinema ticket. You are setting aside a fixed amount for entertainment rather than purchasing an opportunity to earn a profit. Any winnings should be treated as an additional benefit. Gambling should not be used as a way to earn money or supplement your income.

d) Set Aside Time for Other Activities

Even when gambling is enjoyable, it should never become your only interest. Maintain a balanced routine that leaves sufficient time for employment, family life and other hobbies.

e) Accept Losses and Stop at Your Limit

When the amount you allocated has been lost, end the session. Continuing in an effort to recover losses can increase the amount lost and allow gambling to interfere with other areas of your life.

f) Play Only When You Can Make Responsible Decisions

Avoid gambling after consuming alcohol, drugs or strong medication that may impair your judgement. We also advise against playing during periods of severe pressure, high stress, significant mood changes or depression, or whenever you are temporarily unable to participate responsibly and for enjoyment.

g) Take Frequent Breaks

Extended sessions can make it harder to recognise how much time and money you have spent. Regular breaks provide an opportunity to enjoy other activities, spend time with family and get outside. Taking time away also helps you clear your thoughts of gambling.

h) Maintain Social Connections

Continue making time for friends and family. Develop other interests that keep you socially engaged and provide activities unrelated to gambling.

Age Requirements and Protection of Minors

To register and play, you must be at least 18 years old or meet any higher minimum age imposed by the laws applicable to you. Underage individuals are not permitted to use the services. We maintain identification procedures designed to establish players’ eligibility and prevent minors from gambling.

Because internet access is widely available, protecting children also requires responsible supervision by parents and guardians. To help prevent inappropriate access, we encourage players to:

a) Keep electronic devices attended whenever casino software is open or running.

b) Protect both their passwords and access to casino applications.

c) Avoid storing gambling account passwords on electronic devices.

d) Keep account numbers and payment cards beyond children’s reach.

e) Use parental control software to restrict access to unsuitable online content.

The following tools are recommended for protecting minors:

  • FamiSafe
  • Qustodio

Taking a Break or Choosing Self-Exclusion

You may still feel in control while recognising that gambling is taking up more time or money than you would like. In that situation, or whenever you simply want a temporary pause, consider taking a break.

If you are worried about your behaviour, believe you may be developing a gambling problem or already experience gambling-related harm, we recommend considering self-exclusion.

To begin, sign in to your account and open the “Responsible Gambling” tab. The process consists of the following two stages.

Step 1. Complete the 24-Hour Cooldown

A mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period must be completed before the second stage becomes available. You can apply this restriction to the Casino, the Sportsbook or both.

After selecting “Continue”, you will be asked to verify your password. The cooldown window will then appear. Choose the section or sections you want restricted, including the entire platform if desired, and select the exclusion period presented in the process.

Step 2. Confirm Self-Exclusion

Once the cooldown has finished and the second stage is unlocked, select “Continue” again. You will be asked to confirm your password before the self-exclusion window opens.

This window allows you to choose the parts of the website covered by the exclusion, including the platform as a whole. Several duration options are offered, including permanent exclusion.

After making your choices, review the summary displayed at the bottom of the window. As with the cooldown summary, it identifies the areas from which you will be excluded.

Restrictions During the Cooldown

Throughout the 24-hour cooling-off period, you cannot place Bets or Wagers in the sections you selected for restriction. You can, however, continue collecting remaining Vault rewards and rewards from bonuses or promotions in which you previously participated.

Exclusion From Individual Sections

If you select only the Casino or only the Sportsbook, access to that particular section will be restricted while the other sections remain accessible. You will still be able to collect outstanding Vault rewards and rewards associated with bonuses or promotions you entered.

Exclusion From the Entire Website

During website-wide self-exclusion, you will be prevented from entering the website and signing in to your account. Consequently, all progress accumulated on the platform will be lost.

If you select permanent self-exclusion, the account will remain blocked permanently. You will not be permitted to access it or register any new accounts. Remaining Vault rewards and rewards connected with bonuses or promotions you previously joined will also become unavailable for collection.

Completing the Exclusion Request

The process is not finalised unless you press “Exclude”. If you do not confirm this action, the self-exclusion procedure stops and the account restriction expires when the cooldown ends.

You may choose an exclusion lasting up to five years or select permanent exclusion. When submitting the request, specify the period for which you wish to be excluded.

Once confirmed, self-exclusion remains binding for the whole period you selected. For your protection, the restriction will not be reversed before that period ends.
